Coral Gables Hospital has announced that Jonathan Fraginals has been promoted from nurse manager of the Surgical Stepdown Unit to director of telemetry. In this role, he will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of quality care and patient satisfaction.
“Jonathan is well-versed in strategic planning, communication and process improvement, has exceptional clinical skills, and is willing to go the extra mile,” said Patrick Downes, hospital CEO. “He possesses the characteristics and experience necessary to thrive in this new leadership role.”
Fraginals received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barry University. He is a recent DAISY Award recipient, nominated by a co-worker for demonstrating outstanding values and beliefs and for his dedication to providing excellent patient care.
