Coral Gables Hospital will be opening its new off-campus emergency center in a few short months. The Coral Gables Emergency Center will be serving all patients in the community in need of medical assistance. “It is important for our patients to know that we are here for them 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to care for their medical needs,” said Madison Workman, chief operating officer of Coral Gables Hospital. The Emergency Center will have 12,610 square feet of space and it will be located at 8665 Bird Road. The new ER will have nine patient treatment rooms, and it will be equipped with ER equipment and services such as a CT, x-ray, ultrasound, lab, EKG and respiratory services.
