The Coral Gables Storm Under 18 girls soccer team went undefeated with 5 straight wins to capture the championship at the Disney Showcase Qualifier held Labor Day Weekend at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The team scored 14 goals and did not give up a single goal recording 5 shutouts in their five straight wins. By winning the tournament, the Storm has been invited back to play in the TOP Bracket at the Disney Girls Soccer Showcase over Thanksgiving weekend with the premier soccer teams and college coaches from all over the country.
