The 1st Annual Citrus Circuit Short Film Festival will announce and showcase 14 fantastic movies at its downtown Miami premiere event this weekend.
The Citrus Circuit Short Film Festival will screen the movies starting at 6:25 p.m. Saturday, September 3 at SilverSpot Cinema, 300 SE 3rd St. Doors open at 6 p.m., giving attendees and filmmakers a chance to network before the screenings begin.
The festival’s organizers received over 70 entries from countries all over the world. Staff has been working for nearly a year to create a platform for independent filmmakers from across the globe. Part of the team behind the festival includes the leadership of Bad Orange Entertainment.
“Making any film is a hard process that requires dedication and consistency. Not every project has the marketing team or budget necessary to push itself into the level of visibility it deserves,” said Hailey Miller, Citrus Circuit Short Film Festival Manager.
“Our true passion is towards film and thus our goal for Citrus Circuit is to give high visibility to our selectees to increase their chances of networking for future projects and being selected for distribution or acquisition by larger production entities,” said Jonathan Gill, Festival Director.
