First Ever Jewish Bike Tour From Miami To Key West

In an effort to raise awareness and funds for programs that support children with special needs, 20 men from around the country have joined Bike 4 Friendship – a 150 mile cycling trip — from Miami to Key West this Presidents Day Weekend. This will be the first ever Kosher Bike tour from Miami to Key West.

Bike 4 Friendship promotes the mission of Friendship Circle, an international organization which connects teenage volunteers with children, teens, and young adults with special needs to foster a sense of companionship and community. The program’s activities also build social, recreational, and educational skills – skills that cannot be attained through traditional therapies.

During the two day ride to the southernmost point in the US, the cyclists will bike approximately 75 miles each over a 2 day period. The group, ranging from ages 17-60, will be kicking off from the Friendship Circle of Miami (8700 SW 112th ST Miami, FL 33176) on Sunday February 15, at 8:15AM.

The cross-country cyclists are seeking to enhance awareness and understanding of the unique gifts of those with special needs. They are also asking everyone—friends, admirers and well wishers alike—to make a donation in keeping with the theme of “Bike 4 Friendship.”
