Meet the Sheerans, a family with an album full of fond memories about Coral Gables since 1954. Kathleen Sheeran, the youngest of four daughters, answered the search for families living for generations in Coral Gables.
Daniel and Elizabeth had four lovely daughters. Daniel and Elizabeth Sheeran, originally from Kentucky, moved to Miami in 1944 and later relocated to Coral Gables. They lived on Madrid Street with their daughters: Julia, Marita, Margaret and Kathleen. The girls attended St. Theresa’s School while the devoted Catholic parents enjoyed the Church of the Little Flower very much.
In 1994, Daniel and Elizabeth celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a luncheon at the Biltmore Hotel. Before passing away in 1996 and 2013, respectively, Mr. and Mrs. Sheeran shared their love for family and community tradition with their daughters. Kathleen loved living in Coral Gables so much that she also purchased her own home on Ortega Avenue in 1992 and continues to live here.
