Rabbi Jonathan Fisch has joined Temple Judea, one of Miami’s largest Reform congregations, as assistant rabbi.
“Rabbi Jonathan Fisch is a dynamic and energetic person. He brings love of study, community and worship to his rabbinate and can relate to all ages in meaningful ways,” said Judith Siegal, senior rabbi at Temple Judea. “His experience with young adult programming, collaborating and community building makes him a great addition to our Temple Judea leadership team. Children, teens and adults will be attracted to his infectious and positive energy and his passion for teaching and learning.”
Before joining Temple Judea, Rabbi Fisch was a Rabbinic Intern at Congregation Or Ami in Calabasas, CA. He received his Rabbinical Ordination in May 2014, and a Master of Arts in Hebrew Letters from Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles.
Rabbi Fisch also attended California State University North ridge where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Jewish Studies. He was awarded The Louis and Minnie Raphael Memorial Prize for outstanding service to a small congregation in 2012. Rabbi Fisch and his wife, Abby, are newlyweds.
