GableStage at the Biltmore will host a special preview performance of its next play, the Southeastern U.S. premiere of White Guy on a Bus by Bruce Graham on Friday, Aug. 10, at 7 p.m.
This not-to-be-missed performance stars Ryan Didato, Whitney Grace, Rita Joe, Mia Matthews and Tom Wahl. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event go to supporting Orchestra Miami and its excellent musicians and artistic programs.
Tickets for this event are $40 per person, and include drinks and light refreshments.
The premise of the play is simple: Week after week, a wealthy white businessman rides the same bus, befriending a single black mom. As they get to know one another, their pasts unfold and tensions rise, igniting a disturbing and crucial exploration of race.
Don’t miss the Southeastern U.S. premiere of this work, which the New York Times calls “thought-provoking, riveting theater.”
