Miami Medical Consultants and Robert C. Cava M.D., announced today that Gary Sterba M.D. has joined the practice.

Dr. Sterba is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians, and a member of the American College of Rheumatology. He has traveled extensively speaking at medical conferences worldwide and has published numerous articles in the medical literature.
A native of Venezuela, he received his medical degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela and subsequently trained in Internal Medicine at The Jewish Hospital and Medical Center of Brooklyn, N.Y. He completed his Rheumatology fellowship training at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center and remained there to serve on faculty prior to returning to Venezuela where he practiced Rheumatology and Internal Medicine with distinction until emigrating to the United States.
