The Greater Miami Symphonic Band will be performing an inspiring concert themed “THE MAJESTIC MAGIC OF MUSIC” on TUESDAY, MARCH 12th at 8PM at MAURICE GUSMAN CONCERT HALL, located on the campus of the University of Miami, at 1314 Miller Drive, Coral Gables, FL. Music Director Robert Longfield and Guest Conductor Gary Green will lead the band in performances of uplifting music such as “Crown Imperial” by William Walton, “El Camino Real” by Alfred Reed and “October” by Eric Whitacre. Joining the band as Guest Soloist will be former Principal Trumpet of the Chicago Symphony and current Professor of Trumpet at the University of Miami, Craig Morris. He will perform the “Concertino in Eb” for Trumpet and Band by Ernst Sachse. This will be a very special evening with the majesty and magic of symphonic band music on full display, so make your plans now to be there. Valet parking and pay-by phone parking available.
