High Heels in Left Field, a monthly event at the Clevelander at Marlins Park benefiting the Marlins Foundation and other charities, is a guaranteed great time for ladies. Tickets include a drink, great food, entertainment, and game admission.
With the added bonus of a ball game, the affair makes it a winner for the guys as well. In fact, at the last affair on June 12, several husbands tagged along and loved it.
On that particular evening, the GFWC Coral Gables Woman’s Club was treated to a ride to Marlins Park in a stretch limo courtesy of Giovanni Colosi, Ambassador Transportation Group. Riding in style was appreciated especially as it gave club members a chance to celebrate the birthdays of past president Linda Hartwell and New Member of the Year Debi Moore. Of course, it also made them feel like celebrities.
Guests at this affair, coordinated by the Clevelander’s Christina Ward, enjoyed makeovers by Lizz Wiegande of Mary Kay, and blow dry stylings by Blo Blow Dry Bar making everyone look fabulous. At Blo, 3301 NE First Ave. in Midtown, you can choose from the menu of seven styles and the cost is $35 for all hair types and lengths. What a deal! Even the lovely Fox Sports on air personality took advantage of Blo’s fabulous work. Kudos to Blo franchise partner, Sandirose Magder (The Mane Muchacha) and her staff of talented stylists, for adding to an overall great night out.
As the evening came to a close, guests left with parting gifts of Mary Kay lip glosses and a pair of those great “end of the night and take those heels off” flats from FlatOut.
