Jack Lowell is a savvy businessman who combines that with a big heart and winning personality. Over the years, Jack’s leadership has influenced and made impressive positive impacts on South Florida and Coral Gables.

He began a two-year term as chair of the Coral Gables Community Foundation in January adding to his extensive history of community involvement and service. Chairing major organizations is not new to this civic leader who has served as chair of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce as well as chair of The Beacon Council in past years. He is on advisory boards for both Teach for America and WPBT Channel 2. He is a past member of the board of directors for The Salvation Army and lends his support to United Way of Miami-Dade.

Born in Nahant, MA, Jack attended the Noble and Greenough School before moving on to graduate from Harvard College. Over the past four decades, he has been part of the fabric of South Florida real estate and often approached for his insight into the current market as executive vice president for Collier International. In the past five years, Lowell has leased more than 1.5 million square feet of commercial real estate and received numerous awards for his business acumen. All the while, he also took time to give back sharing his time, talent and treasure with our community.

Jack is married to Natasha Lowell, senior vice president, Private Banking manager at First National Bank of South Miami. The father of five children, the couple lives in Coral Gables where he is heavily involved in the community. When not devoting time to work and non profit activity, he enjoys travel and tennis.

A graduate of the University of Florida with a major in Spanish, Burns has an extensive background in advertising, marketing and reciprocal trade, travel , non profit consulting and management. Before joining Miami's Community Newspapers as a columnist and marketing specialist, Gloria was the Executive Director of the Jr. Orange Bowl Committee (6 yrs.) and first Executive Director of the Coral Gables Community Foundation (14 yrs.) and the Pinecrest Community Foundation (1 ½ yrs) . Burns' volunteer activities led her to become a columnist for Community Newspapers writing Gloria’s Gab, that focuses on the non-profit activity, and a host of an online show, Gloria's Gab LIVE. Gloria serves the board of the Rotary Club of Coral Gables as Civic and Charity Chair, and is involved in the club's International Committee. She is an active Life Member of the Jr. Orange Bowl Committee and is Secretary of the Merrick Festival. She serves on the board of directors of the Coral Gables Woman' Club as Publicity Chair and also coordinates the club's monthly fundraiser for various charities with Gringo Bingo at Clutch Burger. In addition, Gloria participates in numerous other charitable events and is a member of the Business Forum Group, Profit Inc., the Greater Miami Festival & Events Association and the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. In other volunteer activity, Gloria helps Miami Christian School with fund-raising and PR; is an Ambassador and volunteers for events for A Safe Haven for Newborns. She is an active member of the Music Ministry at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where she enjoys singing in the choir every weekend.
