Today, Miami-Dade County Commission candidate Kevin Marino Cabrera announced that his campaign and political committee had raised a combined $291,000.00 during the month of May, his first 31 days as a filed candidate for the open District Six seat. This brings his total fundraising number to date to over $400,000.00, outraising all his opponents combined.
“The amount of support our campaign has received during the last month has been incredible,” said Kevin. “We are grateful for the trust the residents of District Six have placed on us. We are working hard every day, knocking on doors, and listening to our neighbors across the community, so we can bring a much-needed new perspective to the County Commission.”
During the month of May, Kevin’s campaign also received numerous high-profile endorsements, including those from President Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States, Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar (FL-27), Chief Jimmy Patronis, the State’s Fire Marshall and Chief Financial Officer, Chairman Daniel Perez, future Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives 2024-26, and Associated Builders and Contractors, Florida East Coast Chapter.
A Miami native, Kevin works in public relations, and he previously worked as Florida State Director for President Donald J. Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee. He is a graduate of Florida International University and Miami-Dade College, and is married to Demi Busatta Cabrera. They reside in Coral Gables, Florida.
