Last minute changes in Coral Gables election

On the last day of qualifying for the April 13 general election in the City of Coral Gables several changes were made that will show up on the ballot for voters,

In the mayoral race, in addition to Patricia Ann Keon and Vince Lago, Jackson Rip Holmes is now also running, having previously been in the Group 2 Commission race.

In the Group 3 Commission race, Javier Banos, Alex Bucelo and Kirk Menendez are now joined by Phillip “PJ” Mitchell, who is founding attorney and partner of Mitchell & West, LLC, handling both civil and criminal matters. He has served on a number of boards within the City of Coral Gables, which includes the Economic Development Board and the Emergency Management Board. Mitchell is a Master Mason and past president of the Theta Mu Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He established a yearly charitable event, the Mitchell & West, L.L.C.
