Coral Gables, FL – Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday falls Small Business Saturday®, a day dedicated to the job creators and local champions who make our economy go!
Launched in 2010, Small Business Saturday is celebrating their 15th year of shining a spotlight on America’s 33.2 million small businesses. This movement is like no other in our Coral Gables business community!
Since the very beginning, your Gables Chamber has been a proud partner and nationally recognized Small Business Saturday Neighborhood Champion. Your local expert on all things shopping small, we are proud to champion the movement once again in 2024!
Small Business Saturday® packs a mighty punch. Nationally, consumers spent a whopping $17 billion on that day according to the 2023 Small Business Saturday Consumer Insights Survey commissioned by American Express and $201 billion since 2010. Plus, these local businesses create two out of every three jobs in the US, indicating the true power and impact of small businesses.
We invite you join us as we support the little guys in our business community, the brick-and-mortar locations that bring much of the charm that our City Beautiful is known for, while showcasing the products and services you need.
On Small Business Saturday, we’re kicking off the festivities at 10 AM at Eden Park Paris. Located in the heart of our Downtown at 308 Miracle Mile, Eden Park is the perfect blend of French sophistication with Rugby roots.
Make plans to tag along after the kickoff, experiencing Coral Gables like never before! Join us for our Architectural Walking Tour at 11 AM led by our Immediate Past Chair Sara M. Hernandez and presented in partnership with AIA Miami and the Miami Center for Architecture and Design. Space is limited, so be sure to get your tickets before they’re gone!
So, on this upcoming Small Business Saturday on November 30th, we pay homage to the little guys: the risk-takers and the dreamers, the creative forces and the family-owned, the homegrown and the locally sourced. You are the ones that are hiring the next generation, creating much needed jobs and contributing to the economic success of the community that we cherish and get to call home.
It’s often said that small businesses are the backbone of America’s economy and there’s no arguing that in Coral Gables.
