Miami-Dade County Animal Services works incredibly hard to save the lives of abandoned animals, protect animals from cruelty, reunite lost pets with their owners, and protect people and pets in the community from health-related issues. Through this hard work, they’ve been able to place thousands of pets in loving homes. Unfortunately though, the shelter has received an influx of pets and they are currently over capacity at over 900 animals available for adoption.
To help ease the population crisis at the shelter, they created a mobile pet adoption center called HOPE Express, bringing the adoptable pets to you. Bean Automotive Group recently hosted HOPE Express for the third time at their west campus, setting up the mobile adoption center between Lexus of West Kendall and West Kendall Toyota.
There were both puppies and adult dogs available at the adoption event. Visitors were able to spend more one-on-one time with the pets, giving them a special opportunity to see the personalities of every adorable dog. Bean Automotive Group associates also had the chance to meet the adoptable pets, some even took a furry friend home!
There are still hundreds of dogs and cats looking for their forever home. Visit them at the Pet Adoption and Protection Center in Doral or look out for HOPE Express in your neighborhood.
