The Miami International Auto Show, one of the nation’s premier auto expositions, runs September 1-10 at the Miami Beach Convention Center and will showcase vehicles making auto show debuts.

The 2024 Nissan Z NISMO will make its global auto show debut at the Miami show.  Specifically engineered to improve aerodynamic performance, the front of the Z NISMO features a styling element called the “Grand Nose” or “G-Nose” extending farther forward than on other grades.  The new front fascia features a restyled grille opening with the thinnest honeycomb mesh of any Nissan production car.

Other highlights include the North American debut of the all-new 2024 Hyundai Elantra and Sonata, South Florida debut of the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse Coupe, the Miami Auto Show debut of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler and the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray.

“Our show provides an excellent opportunity for consumers to view the latest models and newest technologies within the auto industry,” said Debra Koebel, auto show manager.  “The focus for the show in 2023 will mirror that of the industry with a special emphasis on electric vehicles and sustainability.”

Two popular indoor EV tracks will introduce South Floridians to the newest electric vehicles on the market.

The Miami show unveiled its EV Track and Display last year to large and enthusiastic crowds.  This year, show attendees will be treated to rides in EVs from such manufacturers as Volkswagen, Ford, Cadillac, GMC, Nissan, Polestar, and Rivian.  Among the popular vehicles on the “MIAS EV Test Track Powered by FPL Evolution Charging Network” are the Cadillac Lyriq, Nissan Ariya, GMC Hummer EV, Volkswagen ID.4, Ford Mustang Mach E, and Ford’s F-150 Lightning.

Also returning is Hyundai’s indoor EV Track, “It’s Your Journey Course,” offering rides in their 2024 IONIQ 5.

Other crowd-pleasing exhibits such as South Florida Rides, Car Boutique and Memory Lane will again be featured.  The Antique Automobile Club of America’s South Florida Region presents Memory Lane and this year the exhibit will feature nearly 50 autos including a 1956 Ford Thunderbird, 1962 Pontiac Tempest Le Mans, and a host of popular muscle cars.

Hyundai’s IONIC 6, one of the most highly regarded EVs on the market today, is the Official Show Car of this year’s Auto Show.
