Rodney Barreto, Chairman and Chief Visionary Officer of Barreto Hospitality who is best known for bringing and organizing big events and sensational venues to South Florida announces the launch of their newest endeavor, Forte by Chef Adrianne.  Slated for an April 2021 reveal on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Forte will offer its guests a carefully curated culinary journey through an Italian gastronomic experience paying homage to Calvo’s Italian heritage and bears her Mother’s maiden name.

Barreto Hospitality broke into the fine dining and nightlife seen in November of 2019 with The Wharf Ft. Lauderdale on the Las Olas Riverfront – an open-air venue boasting numerous food concepts and several bars.  A month later, the group debuted Rivertail, a seafood restaurant adjacent to The Wharf with Chef Jose Mendin of Pubbelly fame at the helm.  In collaboration with Breakwater Hospitality, The Wharf and Rivertail have opened to rave reviews and have weathered the Covid-19 pandemic that ravaged the industry.

In June of 2020, the Group was back at it with the re-opening of the famed Red Fish Grill in the beautiful Matheson Hammock Park.  Back from the proverbial ashes left behind by Hurricane Irma, Red Fish by Chef Adrianne opened its doors in the summer of 2020 during the height of the pandemic-induced shutdowns.  Patrons flocked to the new Red Fish by Chef Adrianne, the Group’s first collaboration with Chef Adrianne.

Now setting its sights on downtown Coral Gables, the Group acquired the former Cibo Wine Bar at 45 Miracle Mile and have again teamed up with Chef Adrianne to bring genuine, fine Italian cuisine to Coral Gables.  Forte’s menu will juxtapose generations-old traditions with modern techniques to bring the “best of Italy” to the table a la Calvo’s Maximum Flavor. Guests at Forte will be virtually transported to a veritable Tuscan Villa replete with rustic design, sunflowers, home-made focaccia, and traditional desserts.  Authentic indulgences include fresh tomatoes sourced directly from Italy and scratch Italian cocktails.

Forte is Barreto’s second partnership with Chef Adrianne.  It’s been a match made in culinary heaven.  Forte will occupy the former Cibo space at 45 Miracle Mile and will seat 260 guests between its indoor and outdoor dining areas.
