Mario Gonzalez is the Director of Case Management at Coral Gables Hospital. He joined Coral Gables Hospital in 2019. Mario became a nurse in 2009. Mario is responsible for running the care coordination department and utilization department. Since he started as the Director of Case Management, his focus is on decreasing the length of stay of the patients. He is in communication with patients and physicians on a daily basis. Mario received his Bachelor’s degree in nursing from West Coast University, and he is starting his Master’s degree in January. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family.
