  • Miami SCORES, Powered by Concacaf—the newest chapter of North America’s largest soccer and literacy youth development nonprofit, America SCORES, which serves over 17,000 Title I public school students across 13 cities—provides free, 5-day-per-week, after-school programming in soccer, poetry/creative writing, and service-learning for Title I M-DCPS students, centered in six schools in Liberty City and Little Haiti.
  • America SCORES was founded in 1994 by a DC public school teacher as a legacy program of the 1994 FIFA Men’s World Cup. With an innovative, team-based, school-based model, Miami SCORES inspires local youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world. The majority of Miami SCORES coaches are M-DCPS teachers or school staff, who are trained by Miami SCORES on their curriculum.
  • Six M-DCPS elementary schools in Liberty City and Little Haiti: Charles Drew K-8, Earlington Heights Elementary, Jesse J. McCrary Elementary, Kelsey Pharr Elementary, Liberty City Elementary, and Orchard Villa Elementary.
