Experience the pinnacle of musical excellence at the Grand Season Finale with the Miami Symphony Orchestra, the “Official Symphony Orchestra of the CIty of Miami,” conducted by Maestro Eduardo Marturet and featuring the remarkable talent of Perlman’s star student, KJ McDonald, performing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor.
This unforgettable evening on Apr. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts Knight Concert Hall, 1300 Biscayne Blvd., promises to transport audiences into a world of symphonic splendor.
The night will commence with Langsamer Satz by Webern, arranged by Eduardo Marturet, and will later close the first half with the exquisite talent of violinist KJ McDonald.
The second part of the concert will conclude with the enchanting melodies of Symphony No. 7 by Jean Sibelius. To end the concert, Maestro Marturet will delight the audience with a “Mystery Piece,” as part of the Mystery Piece contest, where attendees have the chance to participate and win a two-night stay at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach.
