Murgado Automotive Group, one of the leading automotive dealership groups in the country, recently broke ground on a new Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and Melonie Burke, the Governmental and Community Affairs liaison for Miami Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine-Cava, along with representatives from Stellantis, the parent company for Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram.
The new state-of-the-art dealership will be a flagship location for Murgado Automotive Group, which already represents 18 dealer franchises in Miami, Chicago, and New Jersey. The plans for the dealership were unveiled during the ceremony, and the project is expected to be completed in the next 18 months.
Speaking at the ceremony, Murgado Automotive Group CEO, Mario Murgado, thanked the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County for their support in making the project a reality. He also praised the ongoing commitment of his business partners Alex Andreus, Rick Barraza, and Jeff Nunberg as well as the support of his sons Mario, Jr. and Michael.
“I’m incredibly excited to break ground on what I promise you will be an amazing building and showpiece not only for our company but also for our great community,” said Murgado.
Mayor Francis Suarez also praised the work of Murgado and his company’s commitment to the community.
“Mario is a quintessential Miamian who has shown that with hard work and persistence, you can do anything, and he not only believes in Miami but has doubled down on our community,” said Suarez.
The project was made possible thanks to the hard work and dedication of Murgado Automotive Group’s team, including architect Miguel Yelos San Martin, project manager Jose Martinez, and construction manager Scott Hendrix of Blue Water Construction.
