Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

South Florida PBS (WPBT, WXEL, and Health Channel) is excited to bring our viewers an array of new shows to celebrate the New Year! January is a month full of all-new drama with new season premieres of All Creatures Great & Small, Miss Scarlet & The Duke, Doc Martin, Inspector Lynley, and more. Drama fans will love the premiere of Funny Woman, the new PBS drama that follows Barbara Parker on her journey to take on the male-dominated world of stand-up comedy in 1960’s London.

The PBS classic Finding Your Roots with Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. is back with a landmark tenth season. Gates brings viewers the content they love as he uncovers the hidden family mysteries of eighteen all new celebrity guests and three non-celebrity guests. There’s something for everyone this month with an exciting new 3-part series from Nature – Big Little Journeys, American Masters – Hopper: An American Love Story, and NOVA – When Whales Walked.

This month we honor Black voices and stories with programs such as John Lewis: Get in The Way, Dreams of Hope, Independent Lens: Racist Trees, Independent Lens: Razing Liberty Square, and South Florida PBS original production Crossing Overtown.
