This past May, The Rotary Club of Coral Gables recognized Nicklaus Children’s Hospital with the 2025 Corporate Citizen of the Year Award. The award recognizes individuals and organizations that dedicate their lives to servicing the community of Coral Gables and neighboring areas.
Over the last 75 years, the beacon of hope, Nicklaus Children’s, has touched and transformed the lives of countless children and families throughout their healthcare journey. The 325-bed hospital is renowned for excellence in all aspects of pediatric medicine and has many specialty programs routinely ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Nicklaus Children’s is also home to the largest pediatric teaching program in the southeastern United States and since 2003 has been designated an American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet facility, the nursing profession’s most prestigious institutional honor.
Members of the Rotary Club of Coral Gables are leaders throughout the community and are widely recognized for their service work in South Florida and around the world.
