Every year, Toyota Lexus Minority Owners Dealership Association (TLMODA) works together with The Salvation Army to provide grocery boxes for families in need during their Day of Service. Bean Automotive Group, part of TLMODA, participated on TLMODA’s Day of Service on a rainy Saturday morning at West Kendall Toyota. The Bean Team gave out grocery boxes and gift cards to 100 families, just in time for the holidays.
“It’s important to give back to our community, especially during the holidays”, said Lori Bean, Dealer Principal of Bean Automotive Group. “There’s a lot of families struggling to get food on the table and gifts for their children, and we’re happy to help any way we can.”The boxes were packed with canned goods, cereal, and other shelf-stable foods, enough to feed a family of four.
This is Bean Automotive Group’s second year participating in TLMODA’s Day of Service, addressing the increasing food insecurities families continue to face in the community.
