Pacific National Bank (PNB) announced today that it has added five seasoned bankers to its Relationship Banking division. The new team is led by South Florida Banking veteran, Philip “Flip” Gassman.
Mr. Gassman serves as Senior Vice President, Relationship Banking Executive. He brings more than 35 years of local banking experience and has served similar roles throughout his career at Gibraltar Bank, Coconut Grove Bank, Marquis Bank and Professional Bank. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
“Flip’s experience and knowledge run deep in the South Florida banking community,” said President and C.E.O. Carlos R. Fernandez-Guzman. “I am thrilled to have him and his team on board and confident that they will be tremendous assets to our ongoing success and growth strategies.”
Gassman is joined by Relationship Banking Officers, David Pujals and Monica Garbati, both most recently with Professional Bank. Pujals began his banking career in 1995 at Sequoia National Bank in Washington, D.C., and in 2005 moved to Miami where he held a position as Branch Manager at Biscayne Bank for 12 years. A South Florida native and longtime colleague of Gassman, Monica Garbati has more than 20 years of banking experience and has held both management and sales positions at local institutions. Rounding out the new team are Ronnie Moro Riverol, who will serve as a Senior Personal Banker and Marketing Manager, and Jimmy Ponce, who will serve as Treasury Management Officer.
