Pipeline Workspaces, a national shared workspace concept catering to a diverse community of entrepreneurs, start-ups, lawyers and international business executives, is expanding with a third U.S. location in Coral Gables.
Pipeline has leased a full floor totaling approximately 14,000 square feet at 95 Merrick Way, an office complex located at the gateway to the Coral Gables Financial District and the Miami home to the prestigious Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
With the entrepreneurial trend growing rapidly across the country, Pipeline opened its first location nearly two years ago in Miami’s Brickell Financial District and is opening a 22,000- square-foot location in Philadelphia in December.
The seasoned team of Todd Oretsky and Philippe Houdard has experienced huge success with the Pipeline theory, where new business ventures and connections have been born for local and international teams. Together, they have tapped into the idea that diversity in the community drives success. People from all different industries and stages of the business cycle prosper when they have access to each other’s talents and resources.
“Pipeline is built on the theory that diversity positively impacts success. Geographic diversity draws people with different networks and expertise and being a member of Pipeline gives you one degree of separation from anybody else within the community, while serving as a catalyst to further grow the city’s business community,” Oretsky said.
“As with our locations in Brickell and Philadelphia, Pipeline Gables will draw a different mix of business people who otherwise would not be part of the broader network that can add value to the community as a whole. They can share perspectives, exchange ideas, create business opportunities, and develop meaningful business relationships.”
Coral Gables is considered a premier international business hub that is home to Latin American headquarters, over 20 consulates and government offices, more than 140 multinational corporations, and numerous national and international financial institutions.
The office building sits steps away from Coral Gables’ Restaurant Row on Giralda Avenue with a selection of eateries and the popular specialty coffeehouse Pasión del Cielo and also is walking distance to the Miracle Mile shopping and dining corridor.
Pipeline Gables will have a unique mediation center that caters to the large legal community in Coral Gables, as well as entrepreneurial-shared spaces and private offices that utilize functional and inspirational design to foster productivity, collaboration, and a sense of community among its members.
Spaces will include open work areas starting at $200 per month and private offices starting at $600 per month as well as conference rooms for companies to hold off-site team retreats. Members will have access to all Pipeline locations, a social lounge and free gourmet coffee and teas.
Pipeline has built a great team of advisors and is starting to scale its national and international expansion. Pipeline is advised by Shay Pope of CBRE, John Wood of Amicon Development, Uriel Mendieta of Hunton & Williams and Jorge Bernal of Gensler.
Pipeline Gables will have signage on top of the building and will occupy the full third floor of the seven-story office complex owned by USAA. Parking options will include on-site spaces and additional public parking surrounding the property.
