Holiday cheer came early for over 80 children at the Boys and Girls Club of Miami-Dade on Dec. 21, thanks to donations from Planet Fitness members. Gym members and community residents donated more than 250 unwrapped toys at the 11 different Planet Fitness locations across Miami-Dade County.
Planet Fitness elves delivered the toys and experienced the joy of giving and receiving as the children were able to come into the magical place and select whatever toy they wanted.
The toy drive is in line with Planet Fitness’s philanthropic effort, The Judgement Free Generation, an initiative designed to combat the judgement and bullying faced by today’s youth by creating a culture of kindness and encouragement. Planet Fitness is nationally partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and STOMP Out Bullying to make a meaningful impact on the lives of today’s youth.
