Miami-Dade County School Board Chair Mari Tere Rojas hosted this school year’s second Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Ponce de Leon Middle School. The Town Hall event provided valuable information to parents and members of the Coral Gables and South Miami communities on topics such as safety and security, academics, mental health, District’s budget, and the General Obligation Bond (GOB) projects to keep our school community apprised.
In addition, several students, principals, and teachers were honored for various accomplishments in the Coral Gables and South Miami District 6 area schools. Board Chair Rojas also recognized all the students, teachers, administrators, and workforce for their hard work throughout the school year. Over 200 attendees enjoyed the school exhibits, student presentations, and performances. Board Chair Rojas was thankful to the members of M-DCPS who assisted our office in making this event possible.
