The Office of Miami-Dade County School Board member Luisa Santos on Tuesday, Dec. 17, hosted the highly anticipated District 9 Winter Wonderland at Homestead Middle School, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Attracting 1,500 attendees, the heartwarming event brought together hundreds of families from across the community to celebrate the holiday season, fostering a sense of unity and joy through free toys, books, food, games, and more. The Winter Wonderland was a vibrant celebration of community spirit, offering families a perfect blend of festive fun and valuable resources.
In collaboration with local organizations, School Board member Santos was thrilled to see the community come together for an afternoon of shared joy and goodwill. The event was more than just a celebration; it was an opportunity for families to connect, build relationships, and strengthen the bonds that make the community so special.
