South Florida PBS (WPBT, WXEL, & Health Channel) is thrilled to announce the premiere of the children’s educational interstitial series KidVision Feelings on WPBT, WXEL, South Florida PBS Kids, and YouTube. Join acclaimed KidVision host and Education Director, Miss Penny as she guides the KidVision kids through different emotions and healthy coping strategies to deal with feelings.

KidVision Feelings will teach children how to identify and cope with big emotions through 12 captivating episodes, each focusing on a distinct feeling. Just like a superpower, understanding our feelings opens a world of self-discovery, allowing us to navigate our emotions with confidence.

“At South Florida PBS, we understand the importance of emotional intelligence and its impact on a child’s overall well-being. Through our new KidVision series of interstitials, we hope to empower children to recognize and manage their emotions, laying the foundation for a lifetime of emotional resilience,” said Sr. Vice President of Communications, Marketing, and Education Outreach, Jeneissy Azcuy.

Get ready for an exciting journey into the world of emotions with KidVision’s latest series, KidVision Feelings!

      Episode descriptions are as follows:

      • February 1, 2024 – Proud
        • Miss Penny talks about how feeling proud makes us smile, stand tall, and want to share good news. You might even want to give yourself a pat on the back!
      • February 15, 2024 – Calm

      • March 1, 2024 – Sad

      • March 15, 2024 – Embarrassed
        • Miss Penny helps KidVision kids handle embarrassment by finding humor and looking at things differently. We all get flustered now and then, and that’s okay – it’s just part of being human!

      • May 1, 2024 – Surprised
        • When something surprising happens, share it with others, and turn it into a fun moment together.
      • May 15, 2024 – Silly

      • June 1, 2024 – Disgusted
        • Miss Penny teaches KidVision kids that when something is disgusting, it helps to close your eyes and think about happy things.
