Take a musical tour of Baroque Europe with the Alhambra Orchestra, Mar. 12

The Alhambra Orchestra, led by artistic director Daniel Andai, wants you to experience the musical glories of Europe in the Baroque period, displayed in a free concert by chamber ensembles from the orchestra.

Enjoy works by Vivaldi, Handel, Purcell, Lully, and Sanz, representing the astounding variety of musical styles throughout Europe, in the lovely, intimate setting of a historic church. Concertmaster Steffen Zeichner is featured in the ever-popular Violin Concerto in A minor by Vivaldi. Bring the whole family.

The concert is Sunday, Mar. 12, 7:30 p.m., in the Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ, 3010 De Soto Blvd., Coral Gables. Free admission and free parking, and no tickets or reservations required, but large groups, or persons needing special accommodation, should make advance arrangements.
