Hop on over for a fun-filled Easter egg hunt where little adventurers can search for hidden treasures throughout the garden.

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden will transform into a springtime wonderland as it hosts its annual The Bunny Hoppening, an Easter celebration taking place Sunday, Apr. 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The garden’s annual Easter event promises a full day of festivity where visitors will be immersed in activities including live music, Eggsplore Galore hunts, picnic opportunities, Cottontail Express train rides, lawn games, face painting, and a bubble bunny hop hosted by DJ Brandon.

Guests are encouraged to follow bunny tracks through the magnificent gardens while discovering hidden activities throughout the Wings of the Tropics Butterfly Exhibit, the Children’s Garden, and the Rain Forest. Adult attendees looking to enhance their Easter experience will find refreshing mimosas and signature cocktails available for purchase.

Children will have the opportunity to enjoy storytime sessions with Mrs. Jessica under the children’s garden canopy. Creative activities abound with face painting and spin art options.

Organized games featuring candy prizes for winners add another layer of excitement to the celebration.

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is located at 10901 Old Cutler Rd., in Coral Gables.

Admission is $24.95 for adults, $17.95 for seniors 65 and older,
$11.95 for children ages 3-11. Free for Fairchild members and children 2 and under.

Eggsplore Galore Hunts

Tickets to Eggsplore Galore are sold separately and do not include admission.

Cottontail Express — Departing from Cycad Circle regularly throughout the day until the end of the event with a route passing through the Palmetum, Children’s Garden, and Café; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bubble Bunny Hop — DJ Brandon Segree brings the fun with kid-approved tracks, while a stream of bubbles adds excitement to every step all day long; times: 10:45 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Mr. Bunny Meet & Greet — Meet the star of the season where children can snap photos and share magical moments with the beloved Easter mascot; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Scheduled Games — Participate in our action-packed schedule games throughout the day including the lively Bunny Hop Race, challenging Egg Carry Race, and classic Musical Chairs, for a chance to win delicious candy prizes and create unforgettable family memories. for a chance to win delicious candy prizes and create unforgettable family memories; 11 a.m., 12:15, 1:15 and 2:30 p.m.

Eggsplore Galore — Hop on over for a fun-filled Easter egg hunt where little adventurers can search for hidden treasures throughout the garden. Hunts are divided by age group and take place at different locations ($17.95 per participant).

Garden House Lawn — Ages 0-3 and 4-6: 10:30 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m.; ages 4-6 and 7-9: 11:15 a.m., 12:45 and 2:15 p.m.
Children’s Garden — Ages 10-12: 11:15 a.m., 12:45 and 2:15 p.m.
