The City of Coral Gables introduces Downtown Express trolley service
Downtown Express trolley service runs every Saturday.

The City of Coral Gables launched trolley service from South Gables and the University of Miami to Miracle Mile and Giralda Plaza on Saturday, Sept. 30. The new Downtown Express will operate every Saturday from 2 to 10 p.m.

“The Downtown Express will make it more convenient than ever for residents, students, and visitors to enjoy everything our Downtown has to offer,” said Belkys Perez, director of Economic Development. “Whether enjoying a day of shopping, meeting friends, or savoring a restaurant meal, ride at no cost and worry-free. This is part of our ongoing efforts to promote our Central Business District while offering residents an option to leave their cars behind.”

South and northbound routes will run approximately every 20 minutes. Stops include Kerdyk Park, The Standard, Red Road Commons, University Metrorail Station, the Life Time Building, Miracle Mile, and Giralda Plaza.
