The Palace Group, one of South Florida’s leading companies specializing in senior living and care, was honored by the National Active Retirement Association (NARA) for its newest community, The Palace at Coral Gables.
Inspired by the resplendent Four Seasons’ Hotel George V in Paris, The Palace at Coral Gables received the “Gold” Award in the Best Proposed Active Adult/Retirement Community category.
“Our judges were extremely impressed with our top winners in the retirement design/build category because of their focus on enriching the lifestyle of their residents,” said NARA director Dan Owens. “The Palace is focused on luxury and being convenient to shopping and restaurants.”
The Palace at Coral Gables is the first luxury rental community of its kind in the “City Beautiful” that offers independent and assisted living residences in the heart of the city’s famed Miracle Mile shopping area.
The community’s services and amenities will include concierge, home health, theater, multiple dining venues, wellness center, fitness center and beauty salon.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by a panel of distinguished industry experts,” said The Palace Group’s president Helen Shaham. “The award is a testament to our vision of creating a five-star community for seniors desiring to remain in the city of Coral Gables.”
The community’s Welcome Center will open in January 2011 at 16 Miracle Mile, offering prospective residents an opportunity to preview residences and community plans.
