Bean Automotive Group, together with The Salvation Army and Toyota Lexus Minority Owners Dealership Association (TLMODA), hosted a Back-to-School backpack distribution at West Kendall Toyota on Tuesday, July 30th, from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Associates from the dealership distributed backpacks full of school supplies to families in need, helping the local community at a time when it’s getting tougher to afford everyday necessities. The backpacks had supplies including pencils, pens, notebooks, scissors, and Walmart gift cards to help with more back-to-school purchases.
“We’re happy to partner once again with The Salvation Army and TLMODA to make a difference in our community and help families in need,” said Lori Bean, Bean Automotive Group Dealer Principal. “The days leading up to the school year are tough financially for families and we’re happy to help lighten the financial load.”
A little rain didn’t stop the Bean team! Families lined up in their cars around West Kendall Toyota waiting for their chance to get a backpack on this rainy Tuesday. West Kendall Toyota General Manager Evelyn Chatel was also helping the team distribute backpacks to the families.
This was Bean Automotive Group’s third time participating in and hosting The Salvation Army and TLMODA’s community distribution.
