WHO: U.S. Navy Sailors from USS Constitution, U.S. Navy Meteorology and Oceanography Command, U.S. Divers from Explosive Ordinance Disposal Group 2, U.S. Navy Band Brass Quintet and U.S. Navy Ceremonial Drill Team.
WHAT: The U.S. Navy is partnering with the Frost Museum of Science to Explore Ocean Science and to showcase how the U.S. Navy gathers data on our oceans. Other activities will include interactive STEM displays and presentations, live demonstrations within the Museum’s aquarium on the amazing work that U.S. Navy Divers do every day and the science behind their dive equipment and performances by the U.S. Navy Band Brass Quintet and U.S. Navy Ceremonial Drill Teams. It will bring between 50 and 75 Sailors
from across the nation to volunteer throughout the community and discuss why the Navy matters to Miami. The program last visited Miami in 2019.
