The 28th annual Villagers’ Holiday House Tour will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5, in Coral Gables, from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. This year’s tour will feature five historic Coral Gables homes showcasing the theme “Timeless Relevance.”
Members of The Villagers will be on hand giving guided tours through the homes pointing out significant features such as Mediterranean influences, use of native coral rock and the colorful accents found in the iconic Chinese Village. A gift boutique, quilt raffle and holiday treats also will be available.
Visitors walk and drive in their own vehicles between the properties; the venues cannot accommodate wheelchairs or strollers and the owners request no high heels or photography.
Tickets are $35 and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are available online at www.thevillagersinc.org or by sending a check and self-addressed, stamped envelope to: The Villagers Inc. PO Box 141843, Coral Gables, FL 33114. Ticket holders will receive tour directions with their ticket purchase.
The Villagers Inc. is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of historic sites in Miami-Dade County. Founded in 1966, the all-volunteer organization is a not-forprofit 501(c)3. All proceeds support the preservation and protection of historic sites. This year The Villagers are celebrating “50 Years of Saving Places.”
