U.S. Century Bank announced today that Gary Laurash has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the local community bank.

Dávila, U.S. Century Bank President and C.E.O. “Gary has more than 25-years-experience in financial and treasury management and having held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer in other community banks, his vast experience and knowledge will certainly be beneficial as we continue to improve our balance sheet this year. His expertise in working with potential investors will be valuable to the Bank as we focus on our capital raising efforts Gary is joining a solid team of experienced executives who will work together to improve the Bank’s operations and finalize our capital raise in the coming months,” he added.
As EVP, Chief Financial Officer for U.S. Century Bank, Laurash will manage the Bank’s accounting and finance functions. He has more than 25-years-experience in financial and treasury management and most recently held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Great Florida Bank. Laurash previously served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of BankUnited and also held senior financial positions at MBNA America, Home Federal Savings Bank, American Savings Bank of Florida, MBNA American Bank and Citibank among others.
Laurash earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and Economics from the University of Cincinnati.
