On Monday, November 12, 2012 approximately 50 people attended the University of Miami Veterans Day Tribute at the Coral Gables campus. The tribute included the UM Student Veterans Organization, faculty and staff veterans and Color Guard. The program included veterans who made brief remarks during the program and Vice Admiral Joseph D. Kernan, Military Deputy Commander, U.S. Southern Command.
