The Villagers’ annual Holiday House Tour on Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m., will showcase a selection of curated Coral Gables homes built in 1923.
This year marks the 38th year The Villagers have offered the popular event. Of special interest, is the inclusion of the Merrick House, beautifully decorated for Christmas and hosted by volunteer docents. Members of The Villagers will be on hand to explain each private home’s distinctive history and features.
A gift boutique featuring unique artisans, vintage jewelry, hand-made Angels, and a quilt raffle, will be available from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., an hour after the tour ends. A Rita Tennyson pop-up café also will be on-site, offering food for purchase.
The historic homes cannot accommodate wheelchairs or strollers, and homeowners request no high heels, interior photography, or children under 10. Ticket holders drive their own vehicles between the properties and will receive tour directions with their ticket purchase.
Tickets are $65. Details and tickets are available from members of The Villagers, by visiting the website at https://thevillagersinc.org/ or through Eventbrite at
