Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

“Spooky Symphony” is a one-hour free performance of great Halloween-themed music for young listeners performed by the Greater Miami Youth Symphony with Alhambra Orchestra musicians.

Families and children will enjoy movie themes from the Superman, Batman, Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean sagas, and dramatic classical showpieces with eerie themes. Video images will be projected behind the orchestra. Musicians and audience are invited to come in costume, to enhance the supernatural experience.

The Greater Miami Youth Symphony will be conducted by Huifang Chen, and musicians from The Alhambra Orchestra will be conducted by Daniel Andai. The concert is presented by The Children’s Trust.

The concert is Sunday, Oct. 24, 4 p.m., at Miami-Dade County Auditorium (MDCA), 2901 W. Flagler St. Admission is free, but tickets are required.

Tickets are available at the MDCA theater box office Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., or on www.Ticketmaster.com, or by visiting the website at www.MiamiDadeCountyAuditorium.org.
