The Business Improvement District of Coral Gables invites the community to experience a holiday like never before with a festive Downtown Coral Gables Holiday Market taking place on Dec. 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18, between 5 and 9 p.m.
Visitors will be immersed in a magical holiday event with an international flair that consists of more than 25 artisanal vendors specializing in seasonal goods and foods, and a curated selection of holiday-themed activities.
Shop for holiday-inspired items such as tree ornaments, homemade fudge, gourmet gift baskets, fresh-popped kettle corn and much more. Embrace the cheer of the season with curated workshops where visitors can create their own holiday-scented candles, Christmas wreaths, floral centerpieces and kids can decorate their own cookies all taking place in McBride Plaza.
Find Santa strolling through Downtown and pose for seasonal pictures (or give him your wish list), or cozy up on Giralda Plaza where children can delight in a daily Christmas story-time. Come experience a winter wonderland moment while sipping a hot chocolate under the snow at the plaza outside of Fritz and Franz.
“Downtown Coral Gables is one of the most unique, cultural and community centered shopping destinations Miami has to offer,” said Aura Reinhardt, executive director, Business Improvement District (BID) of Coral Gables. “Why not take the challenge to only shop locally this year by shopping at our Holiday Market or at one of our local boutiques, jewelers, and array of specialty stores. Experiential gifts are all the rage this year like visits to the theater, art cinema, museum or one of our numerous fine dining restaurants as gift cards make wonderful stocking stuffers.”
The Business Improvemet District (BID) Holiday Market of Downtown Coral Gables in collaboration with Florida Fresh Markets, is sure to be an intercultural Christmas spectacular that our community will not want to miss.
