The pandemic has disrupted personal finances, but it shouldn’t disrupt education and career goals. In response to the challenges caused by COVID-19, the University of Miami Patti and Allan Herbert Business School has created the COVID Career Advancement Relief Plan, which is made up of scholarships tailored specifically for prospective graduate business students that total up to $1 million.

“This pandemic has created overwhelming financial uncertainties, so we developed this plan to try to alleviate some of that stress, and to inspire people to pursue a graduate degree,” said Henrik Cronqvist, vice dean for graduate business programs and executive education.
The scholarships are geared toward incoming students, recent graduates, and local professionals affected by the pandemic who may want to pursue a master’s degree to advance in their careers, or create an opportunity out of an unforeseen unemployment gap in their work history.
