The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual City Beautiful Awards during Good Morning Coral Gables on Aug. 21, at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. The City Beautiful Awards, presented in partnership with the City of Coral Gables, celebrate the aesthetic beauty and singular charm found only in Coral Gables.
The City Beautiful Awards are presented by thechamber each year to celebrate the most outstanding examples of architectural achievement among the city’s commercial properties.
This year’s City Beautiful Award winners are:
Outstanding Interior Award: EoA Inc., 1929 Ponce de Leon Blvd.; Architects: EoA Inc.
Outstanding Exterior Award: University of Miami Student Activities Center, 1330 Miller Dr.; Architects: Arquiteconica. Outstanding Retail Showroom Award: The Collection; 200 Bird Rd.; Architects: Barbara Savage, Add Inc.
Outstanding Restoration Award: University of Miami Toppel Career Center; 5225 Ponce de Leon Blvd.; Architects: Juan Rodriguez-Vela, UM, and Javier Torres, McHarry & Associates Inc.

Trowbridge, president and CEO of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. “The City Beautiful Awards are another way to promote and reward those businesses and commercial developments that contribute to our city’s beauty in a positive, impactful and lasting way.”
