Community joins in celebration of Villa Majorca grand opening

Coral Gables city officials and chamber representatives, Florida East Coast Realty (FECR) executives and project team members, as well as new residents and local real estate brokers recently gathered at Villa Majorca to celebrate the official opening of the luxury, rental community debuting in “The City Beautiful.”

Developed by FECR, Villa Majorca received its TCO in early November, making way for residents to move into their spacious, elegant homes.

To mark the occasion, an official ribboncutting ceremony took place on the fourthfloor entertainment terrace. Mayor Donald Slesnick presented Tibor Hollo, FECR president and founder, with an official Coral Gables City Seal.

“In these times, it’s very heartening to have construction completed in the city, and Villa Majorca is such a beautiful project,” Mayor Slesnick said. “We’re glad to be here to be part of this occasion.”

Also in recognition of the opening, Chamber of Commerce chair-elect Drew Kern presented a proclamation to Hollo.

“We truly appreciate the special recognition by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and are pleased to be able to deliver another quality development in this prestigious city,” Hollo said.

Villa Majorca has just 36 residences, providing residents the comfort and carefree convenience of renting a spacious, elegant home in a community with a boutique feel, rather than dealing with the demands of home ownership.
