Gulliver Schools announces hiring of new primary school principal

Valerie Bostick is the new primary school principal at Gulliver Schools Academy Campus.

Gulliver Schools has named Valerie Bostick as the new primary school principal at its Academy Campus.

Bostick, who has more than 14 years of educational administration experience, was head of the primary school at Evansville Day School in Evansville, IN. There she was responsible for the daily operation of the 300-plus-student private school for the preschool through fourth grade division. Most recently, she was the director of early childhood education at Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. Within the district she also served as the project director of its Safe Schools/Healthy Students initiative supporting program development for kindergarten through 12th grade after-school and summer programs, early childhood education, student wellness, college preparation, and emergency management for the 24,000-student school district.

Bostick holds BA degrees in English and history from Indiana University, a master’s in elementary education from National Louis University and is completing a two-year certification program in school leadership and administration from Brown University.
