If you want to know where the Million Orchid plantings are going in our urban landscape, there’s an app for that.
To facilitate the documentation and tracking of the orchids after they are planted, Florida International University GIS Center teamed up with scientists from FIU Department of Biology and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden to develop this Web and mobile GIS application. Funded by the City of Coral Gables’ Office of City Clerk, the app can be downloaded from the city’s Smart City Hub.
