The Miami-Dade non-profit Touching Miami with Love (TML) celebrated 20 years of impact in the communities of Overtown and West Homestead during the 20th Anniversary BIG Dreamers Awards Dinner on Saturday, Oct. 3.

The founders and builders of the organization came from across the country and around the state to celebrate and honor those who have dreamed big dreams with the organization that currently serves 400 children, youth, and adults through its two sites.

The event sponsored by Greenburg- Traurig, Health Coalition Inc., Just Ask Boo, InSouthFlorida.com and Salex International, honored the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship for its continued commitment as founders and The Children’s Trust as integral partners in the organization’s growth. Also honored were outstanding volunteers from each site.

The evening closed out with Dr. Pat Anderson, retired professor of Florida Southern College and one of the founding supporters, giving the keynote address showcasing the rich history of the organization to a crowd of over 200 gathered at Miami Dadeland Marriott’s Ballroom.
