Cutler Bay residents in need of tools, supplies and helpful household goods now have access to a host of hardware products at the new Ace Hardware in Old Cutler Towne Center.
With an iconic red ribbon draped across its entrance, Ace officially opened its doors to the public on Thursday, Aug. 16, in the shopping center off Old Cutler Road and SW 204th Street.
“The helpful place” got a helping hand from community members and neighboring retailers who joined in support for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. As the grand opening commenced, store owner Valdin Llano was surrounded by Ace employees as well as fellow Old Cutler Towne Center retailers, representatives from the shopping center’s management company — Sansone Group — and members of the Cutler Bay Business Association.
Earlier this year, Old Cutler Towne Center announced the completion of a 10-year, 7,000-squarefoot lease for Ace Hardware. Old Cutler Towne Center is owned by TA Realty, one of the largest and most experienced privately held real estate advisors in the United States. The 100,000 square foot shopping center is Publix-anchored and located in the Town of Cutler Bay at Old Cutler Road and SW 204th Street. Representing TA Realty was Lindsey Pankey, a principal at Centre-Line Real Estate Services. The tenant was represented by Ron Froom of Diversified Investment Properties.
